[ You find yourself in a section of the maze walled off by hedges sporting glowing orange flowers. Several tree stumps with rich velvet cushions on them surround a much larger stump, upon which lie a number of cards... ]
[Looking at the Chariot card first, since you're looking at that.]
It looks to be a roman officer leading a chariot out of a castle, but the chariot's led by sphinxes? So it's probably about conquering? the other one, Strength, is...
A woman holding a lion's head? Presumably, the lion is much stronger than her, but she's managing to control it, so... Maybe it's about controlling something that would normally be overpowering you?
[the worst thing about being possessed by the spirit of an animal that wasn't allowed to peacefully die is that sometimes, you're actually okay with dying EXCEPT THAT'S NOT OKAY?!]
If they go that way, then it'll probably be someone turning into a lion or having their mind turn feral instead. These are probably changes to ourselves, after all.
I don't think it'll be both, so if someone turns into a lion, they'll probably still think like us, just... be a lion. The second one is mildly dangerous since the only one of us that knows how to fight is Parallel, so she can't take that one.
Then... Let's see what else we have... I'd say Temperance, but the symbolism there is a bit hard to figure out. We have an angel pouring water into a cup over a lake or pond, while a... volcano erupts in the background?
Right... [ She has no idea what any of that stuff she mentioned is specifically but the general concept of conquering and overpowering things she gets ]
Which do you think would be better in this case? [ doing her best to ignore the cups and putting some of her trust in her teammate. ]
Conquering or being able to control something that could overpower you? I personally prefer the latter.
Well, the dangers are high enough with Strength that while it might be a good idea to take it, you probably shouldn't. You're the only one that can keep control if some of us go out of control as a result, after all.
[Since... you know, you have hand-to-hand combat?]
Re: DISCUSSION
What do any of these even mean?

It's not to say that I would want that to happen.

Well, it looks like the cats don't want to risk it anyways, so I'll try to figure something else out. Unless you think we should risk the Chariot?
