Parallel experiences the following:

All control you have over yourself vanishes the instant you pick up this card. That's bad enough to start with, but within seconds, your most negative and violent emotions surge up wildly from within you. Your fear heightens, and your anger burns; you cannot stop yourself from expressing all of this, no matter how you'd like to.

Tiger experiences the following:

Your vision blurs as you pick up the card. The air around you is light and dry, so why does it suddenly feel like you're underwater? Why can't you escape the sensation of water first trickling, then rushing into your lungs? Somewhere, distantly, your brain knows that you can breathe. But right here in this most immediate moment, your nostrils fill up, and every painful breath seems to bring a new torrent into your lungs in place of air. ]

[PANIC is the proper response. so is going to his knees, gasping and coughing and trying to get a better hold of the card to MAKE IT STOP]

T-Tiger-kun?!

[Crouches next to him hurriedly, placing a hand on his shoulder.]

That's kind of how it's always been. I'm no good at the front, so I have to at least do my best to support the people fighting with me.

Still, this is worse than I was expecting.

...I wish I could say that half an hour isn't a long time, but considering his condition, even a minute might feel like an hour.
