[ You find yourself in a section of the maze walled off by hedges sporting glowing magenta flowers. Several tree stumps with rich velvet cushions on them surround a much larger stump, upon which lie a number of cards... ]
[ There are now fifteen cards upon the table--the same as before, minus the last one you chose. You get the feeling you'll need to proceed just as you did in the last round. ]
[ The instant you lift the card, you feel as if lightning surges into your body from above. Sheer power pours through you relentlessly, or at least that's how it feels. You're vaguely aware that it's just a figment of your imagination, but the pain is all too real. Spikes of energy jangle painfully all around your body. It's a wonder you don't simple blow apart, overloaded. ]
[ After thirty minutes, the card dissolves into ash, and what luck! With some morehideous crunching noises, your bodies start to mend themselves about halfway, and the shape on the table empties out of about half its little wands, down to being a tenth full! ...once again, for all of two or three seconds, until the shape fills back up to twenty percent. Your ribs crackle ominously, and then sure enough, several of them too become little wooden wands planted shakily in your chest. They sag alarmingly, no longer able to properly fuse together to protect your lungs and heart. ]
