Anyway grabbing Death.]

[ The world around you suddenly warps as you grasp this card. Where before your known companions stood, now there are strange and utterly alien monsters imbued with a sinister air. The ordinary objects that made up your surroundings are now twisted abominations like nothing you've ever seen before. None of it is safe; none of it is familiar. You have been plunged into an alien world that is certainly out to get you. ]

[Do you mean how I normally look at the world--

Lepus jerks back from them all, his pupils blowing wide, lips peeling back to bare his sharpened teeth. Is it fear, or rage?

[sssslowly approaching, with her palms up to show she has nothing in them]

[A half raise of his not quite ruined hand, prepared to defend himself, and his eyes aren't quick focused on her.]

[wwatching his reaction, and approaching closer, though she doesn't make a move to touch him]

[ limping towards lepus. ]

[Hisses through his teeth, a stressed alleycat sound.]

[Not focused, panicked beyond measure.]

[Snarls, low and angry, his gaze not really focused on Mira - past him, around him, watching everything.]

We're a team, right? [ another step forward. ] An' we'll be a team 'til the end. [ and another. ] 'm sorry.

[ maybe i'll just move closer faster, then. ]

[ oh okay that's. that definitely hurts. but he's just gonna take it and not even try to shove lepus away. ]
