J-just a cough, don't worry, don't worry. I'll be--

[. . . doubling over and breaking out into another coughing fit right now]

[THAT ISN'T SOMETHING TO SAY DON'T WORRY ABOUT.

Reaches out to rub his back] That is more than just a cough, Kaito . . .

[wipes at his mouth, closing his hand into a fist to hide the blood he just coughed up :x]

'M not a doctor, but 'm probably gonna need antibiotics. . . and some sedatives to knock me out.

[glancing up at her and frowning]

What're your symptoms?

[she already saw it :T]

Cough, chest pains . . . other pains . . . [she shrugs a shoulder and frowns at him] I do not know what those are.

Any fever?

[lifting his clean hand to press it against her forehead. it's a crude way to check for a fever, but hey, it works]

[a high one, by how warm she feels. She wrinkles her nose and pulls her cloak around her with her free hand]

Shit. . . you're gonna need some fever medicine--

[aaaaan cut off by more coughing]

Do not talk to me about medicine when you cough like that.

[she's checking his forehead for fever now, with the inside of her wrist. She's ice cold to the touch]

[he has one, though the cough is definitely more worrying than the fever]

[he breaks away from her pretty quickly to rush towards the bathroom before he can respond to her, too]

[oh geez. She gets to her feet and slowly follows]

[he's hunched over a toilet by the time she arrives, wheezing as he breathes]

This s-stupid game is gross. . .

[she heaves out a sigh and leans against the wall/stall next to him]

Y-Yes, it is . . . have you taken anything Dawon has been given?

N-no. Have you?

[yeah he's just going to continue hugging this toilet since he's too weak to stand up right now]

Cough syrup? [she coughs into her hand, making a face after she stops] It tasted disgusting.

H-ha ha. . . usually does.

Try some painkillers. T-they usually double as fever reducers. 'M gonna let Dawon knock me out for the rest of the game. . .

Knock you out with . . . what? Their fists?

[that's how you knock people out, right]

Sedatives. Medicine. Makes you sleepy.

Ah . . .

[pauses, briefly, to try to hold back another cough] That—isn't a bad idea, but I will pass, I think.

[n-nods and shakily climbs to his feet]

L-let's get you something for that fever.

[she reaches out to grab his arm to help him, even if she has very little strength to do so with]

[yaaaay sickly fetching medicine together]

[picks out some painkillers once they're there, and handing them to her with water]

[.................. uh]

Do I chew them?

Swallow. With water.

[meanwhile he is going to flop on a cot and take some of the tranquilizers Ivy and Hydra are giving him]

[that doesn't even make sense!! But she's doing it . . . RELUCTANTLY.

And then going to sit on the cot next to his]

[he is going to sleep peacefully with no coughing or stomach pain for the rest of the game ('-' )]
