EPONA + RATATOSKR + TIAMAT + JACK PANTHER

[You are ushered out of the parlor and into a cozy sitting room. The storm continues to rage outside, but a roaring fire keeps the room nice and toasty.

As you enter, you find your clothes have changed to something vaguely 1940s Noir-ish and appropriate to your character. You all look very dapper, though you may be surprised to suddenly find yourself cross-dressing. At the same time, knowledge suddenly enters your mind- the role you will be playing in tonight's performance, information on some of your fellow guests, and the rules of the game, as well as the setup for the story.
]

[RULES:
THIS IS A MURDER MYSTERY GAME! Investigate your surroundings, speak to your fellow guests, and solve the mystery! Points will be given for completing goals and appropriate IC roleplaying.

You can make private, friends-locked posts to other players for secret discussions, but you MUST include [personal profile] squeakofthedevil on the filter and drop a link here!]

NOTE: In this group, the parts of Kira Graves and Tod Mises are unclaimed. ICly, Kira will have been unable to attend due to both of her children being ill. Tod simply refused the invitation because he thinks his dad is a jerk.

[firmly]

Yes.

I. . . won't deny that a long time ago, I felt wronged by your father. But I also won't deny that I had some part in the fracturing of our friendship. I would never harm a man as intelligent and well-liked as he, I assure you.

But you won't say the cause of that fracturing?
carptricks: (As if you actually)

. . . when we were young, your father and I shared everything. Business ideas included.

He took one of mine and implemented it without consulting me. I was angry, and we fought.

[exhales deeply, bowing his head]

. . . but now that I have a successful business of my own, looking back, it seems silly to be so upset.

[Seems to be considering that.]

Having money yourself would make it seem silly.

[pausing for a moment, thoughtful]

[then lowers his voice]

. . . your father was a very well-off man. Is there anyone here that you think might benefit financially from his death?
thevoidsdarkhorse: (It's a furry comfort)

Many, though it depends whose in his will.

But the only people I can think off are well off enough on their own, killing him would just be more money.

[hmmm]

Still. . . might I ask who you were thinking of?

Yep-yes, pretty much.
