If there's 15% dissent, that also means that there's 85% contentment, I would think. If we got closer to 50% dissent, that would be a much bigger problem.
I would think they'd make it clear if they desired higher wages due to the political situation, at least.
My point was more that contentment is already very high, not that pay wages would harm it in any way.
I would think it would be better to wait until the situation necessitates wages, so that way we can expand the company in the meantime. If we spend too much on wages, we could hurt future production and they may lose their jobs.
