The mother holds her infant and child closer, watching you warily. The old maine coon just scoffs at the mother and moves on to get started on his business with the teller and the college student just shrugs at you.
The manager makes his way over to you with...what might be a feline smile.
"Very well. We're a bit busy this morning, so you'll have to wait in line. We should be ready to help you by 10:00am. Thank you for considering Lion Bank!"
With the pitch given the manager goes back behind the counter to finish his work...And the grey tabby with the backpack takes a step back to 'pst' at you.
[She moves to the line, looking around at the whole place thoughtfully. She looked at the tabby, raising an eyebrow. She lowers her voice.] What do ya mean?
[Shrugs, leaning back.] I dunno, just seems weird to be all concerned. This is still a good bank, yeah? Not like a species is gonna determine how well it runs and manages.
The tabby raises a brow, then grins. "Right, right...You're a pretty open-minded person." Then below his breath; "So what should we do about the manager? I think he's spooked."
The manager, of course, starts carefully making his way behind the counter, heading towards the end, while the two tellers glance up at you warily.
Is it that much of a surprise? Huh, I suppose I wouldn't know. I grew up in a community of mostly cats, only recently moved to a neighborhood with more humans.
[Hand on her chin, covering her mouth, seeming in thought.] Depends what ya got in the bag.
"A pistol, and I know the code for the combination."
The manager, in the meantime, has made it to the end of the counter and is now at the third teller window. He seems to be reaching for something. And given how your new tabby friend's tail has gone ever so straight, there may be cause for concern.
Oh really? Thank you! [She smiles at the tabby and heading over to the third teller window.] He said it was all right for me to come up if this window is open too. It is open, right?
The manager freezes, seemingly taken completely off-guard. Then he manages a polite smile.
"Of course, of course. I uh, have the paperwork right here..." The manager hastily pulls out some paperwork, dropping on the table and...you can see that the print seems to be almost entirely in pawprints.
The tabby seems to relax, though now the mother and older, scarred cat are both glancing your way.
[Picking up a pen, looking it over like she actually knows what it says. Oh, if only her cats had actually written things.] So I just need to fill this out, and I'll have an account? Or is there more stuff? Sorry, just the first time I ever opened an account on my own, no idea what I'm doin'. And do I need to write like this, just been a while since I have. Bit rusty.
"Yes, yes, you just fill out everything requested on the form here for the bank account for the first step. We have another form so you can transfer any money you may have in another bank account, but that's only if you're now using cash to open your account."
"Um, that's quite all right...Let me know if there's any questions. I um, have a phone call to make."
While the managers fidgets a bit and starts to head over to the security room, the grey tabby slides up behind you and drops a piece of crumbled paper next to your forms.
[Jeeze, everyone is so fidgety. Though security. Ugh, well, that's gonna be obvious soon.]
[She grabs the paper, uncrumpling it, only looking for a second before picking it up with the form and heading for the security room as she actually read its.]
The paper says; The code for 50% and I'll clear the escape route first. Teamwork sounds great, right? :3
If you're walking quickly enough, you can catch up to the manager...Though you don't have to walk that quickly at all to reach him, and he immediately stops in his tracks when he notices he's being followed.
[the question is is money or peoples wellbeing worth more to you? cuz we can totes get thru this with no one hurt so long as u dont raise trouble. ur systems r out. youre cameras arent gettin any feeds so i had to hurry along
ps if i was actually here to open an account u guys would be pretty douchey with all the side eyeing. jegus didnt even do anything yet sides look around n talk to a dude.']
[Admittedly, she was only guessing the cameras were out, but if her abilities were active, chances are they were going too. And even if the rest weren't out, the fact those were made the deceit more believable.
Gives him a stealthy thumbs up in return. We got this.]
I'm excited too. Feel like a real adult thing. Just needed to fix this? [Writing down on the form again. 'now give me another form to fill out with whatever the bank offers that won't tip off your workers for me to go in the back. No need for violence.']
Re: Round 2
...oh my god.
[OH MY GOD.]
[THERE ARE SO MANY CATS.]
[Excuse me, I need a minute to OLD IN MY SQUEE LEVELS.]
Re: Round 2

"Welcome...Are you here to open an account?"
Re: Round 2
Huh? Oh! Yes! Yes, I'm here to open an account.

"You're not really here for an account, are you?"

Re: Round 2
Honestly I've never opened a bank account before. What's the diff?
Re: Round 2
"...I don't know. I've never been to that bank."
While you talk to the tabby, the manager seems to stop working, watching you both now.

There's some stuff I only know how to write in human. Is that all right?

Yeah, I think I have my form done.

Re: Round 2
"Very well. If your form is finished, we can process it back at the counter...Was there anything else you thought you might be needing today?"
As for whether the cameras are out, well...That depends on your skill, though there's no indication that they're on or moving at the moment.
Re: Round 2
[She just smiles.]
There's a bit more, but we can process it first. [Heading back to the counter, walking beside him.]
Re: Round 2
The manager leads her back to the counter, closer to the safe door, holding himself a bit tightly, but still sounding cheery and pleasant.
"Excellent. It'll be good to have you as a fine member of our bank."
Your tabby friend grins and gives you a thumbs up.
