[You enter a room made entirely of thick glass and patterned porcelain. Fluffy pillows and beanbags are scattered across the floor, providing plenty of comfortable places to sit, but they probably don't make up for what's on the ceiling (spears of jagged glass, steaming kettles of some boiling liquid), or the view through the floor (a long, long drop down into a pit, wherein weapons glint, sharp and business-ends pointed up towards you).
A round table stands in the middle of the room. Upon it stands six vases, each one the color of one team, and a scattering of gems in three different colors: obsidian, sapphire, and crystals.]

Mingle
Instructions
You'll find twelve obsidian gems; these are your attacks. All of these must be played.
Six sapphire gems; each one will negate one attack.
Two crystals. Should you play one against a team that has chosen to attack yours, half of their total attack will be reflected back against them.
Deposit your gemstones in the vases whenever you're ready, but be warned—once played, they cannot be taken back.
Your goal is to be the least attacked or the most defended, dear hearts!
(OOC: This will be a one-round game! Please try to have your decisions in by 9PM EST.))

Re: Mingle
What is this exactly?

Miles told me the games are all different. This one looks nasty.

If our team gets attacked...

Re: Mingle
Yes. I am assuming so.

Re: Mingle
We have twelve attacks we are required to use. I would rather not attack any of the teams, but we do not have a choice. I do not know what teams to choose, other than that I would rather not do anything to Amalthea.
Re: Mingle
[shutting his eyes] Shit! I don't know who to pick either. I want to say we shouldn't attack a couple of teams, but that's not how this game works. It isn't fair!
Re: Mingle
It is not designed to be fair. I would suggest spreading the attacks out on all the teams. But we can put one extra sapphire stone on the teams we want to protect, regardless. That would negate the attack we do.
Re: Mingle
Re: Mingle
That still makes it uneven, however.
Re: Mingle
Re: Mingle
What teams do you want to protect?
Re: Mingle
Takshaka too, and I guess Amalthea for your friend's sake, right?
no subject
Ometotchtli: N/A
Takshaka: 3 Obsidian, 2 Sapphire
Epona: 2 Obsidian, 1 Crystal
Amalthea: 2 Obsidian 2 Sapphire
Barghest: 2 Obsidian 2 Sapphire
Re: Mingle
Then we will negate our attacks on those teams with sapphires, and put the rest obsidian gems on the other teams?
[explaining as per the submitted format down there!]
