[ When you enter the TV, the room surrounding you is notably blank - appearing something like this. Which may seem odd, until words appear out of thin air in front of you: ]

Today, we're going to go through an interactive story of sorts!

You're a college student who's just transferred to a new university, and you have a week to make new friends and potentially find that ~special someone~ people always worry about having.

Luckily for you, your college has a club fair for transfer students just like you! You're headed off there to meet some of your fellow students and get a better lay of the land.

But before we begin, there's just one important thing I need to get down...who are you?

DAY 2 - A CHOICE.

The next day, in between buying things for classes and watching TV, you decide to go visit someone in the hopes of maybe getting a head start on that friend-thing.

Where do you choose to go?

HAYATO - EVENT #1.

You head over to the library, which is unsurprisingly empty considering that classes haven't started. Even the librarian isn't invested in her job, listening to some sort of music through headphones.

You notice a familiar face sitting by his lonesome, and so you decide to strike up a conversation.



YASUHIRO: Kurosawa, right? Head of the science club?



HAYATO: ...Do I know you?



YASUHIRO: Oh, no. I'm Tachibana Yasuhiro, a new student this year. I was just interested in maybe joining the science club, if you're looking for new members?



HAYATO: ...Funny. Leave me alone.

He turns away. Annoyed, you clamp a hand on his shoulder and turn him back around.



YASUHIRO: This isn't a joke! You can't have a club with only one member, and I want to join. What's the problem here?



HAYATO: What's the problem....heh, fine. Just tell me one thing: what field of science are you interested in?

> Psychology.
> Chemistry.
> Astrology.

It's pretty easy. Psychology most hardcore scientists call 'barely a science,' and Astrology is usually associated with horoscopes. Not scientific at all.

YASUHIRO: I'm actually pretty interested in studying chemistry; it was one of my favorite subjects in high school, so I'm hoping I'll enjoy it here as well.



HAYATO: Chemistry, huh...there's certainly a fair amount of that in this club. If you're serious about being interested, we'll have a meeting tomorrow in the science lab.

He looks at his watch, and then starts collecting his things.



HAYATO: I have to leave. I trust our conversation is over?

You wave him off, feeling like you and Kurosawa have grown a little closer, and then return home.
