TIAMAT.
[ When you enter the TV, the room surrounding you is notably blank - appearing something like this. Which may seem odd, until words appear out of thin air in front of you: ]
Today, we're going to go through an interactive story of sorts!
You're a college student who's just transferred to a new university, and you have a week to make new friends and potentially find that ~special someone~ people always worry about having.
Luckily for you, your college has a club fair for transfer students just like you! You're headed off there to meet some of your fellow students and get a better lay of the land.
But before we begin, there's just one important thing I need to get down...who are you?

HAYATO - EVENT #2.
HAYATO: Stop right there.
YASUHIRO: ...Is something wrong?
HAYATO: You're not wearing safety equipment. I'm not getting in trouble because you burn yourself with acid.
You sigh, and put on the proper protective equipment.
YASUHIRO: Am I good now?
He looks at you, and eventually nods.
HAYATO: Good enough. You can stand next to me now and watch as I do the experiment.
YASUHIRO: Wait, I don't get to do anything? That's no fair.
HAYATO: Do you really think I'd let some newbie start out doing experiments?
YASUHIRO: I put on all of the proper gear, I'm good to go.
He sighs.
HAYATO: If you seriously expect me to let you handle chemicals, you’ll have to prove you know what you’re talking about first. Which one of the following is an acid?
> H2O.
> CH2MgBr.
> HCl.
DISCUSSION.
Re: DISCUSSION.
Hydrogen and Chlorine...
...oh! Of course, any elemental mage should know that one.
Re: DISCUSSION.
Re: DISCUSSION.
You use it to purify some metals in alchemy, and it's an easy compound to make for spells where you create acid...

TURN-IN.
Re: TURN-IN.

YASUHIRO: Hydrochloric acid is obviously acidic. With a pKa of -7 or so?
HAYATO: ...Maybe you know more than I thought. Fine, you can help out, as long as you don't fuck it up.
You help Kurosawa, whom you feel a bit closer to, conduct an experiment, and then you head home.
