... which gives Schooler a very stupid idea. If that's Eveningstar, then presenting evidence as mere truth isn't enough. No, she has to kick it up a notch and act a fool. ]

[ Schooler presents her own profile! ] See, it says right here that I'm prickly and aloof. Most of the time when someone does something nice for me, I act as if I hated it all along.

[ Schooler presents the burger. ] But what I didn't tell you is that I loved the gesture and I love burgers. I'd eat this right now if I could, but since it's evidence... it's best I don't try.

But it was a kind gesture, one you repeated over and over again! Every time I was upset, the defendant came to my need despite me clearly being the worst person on Epona. That's right: only a good person would tolerate my selfishness and still reach out to me when I'm in despair.
