And it might be painful for her, which is why I have to stay behind and protect her.

Hold it right there. Are you saying this is some kind of trap and that Eveningstar is going to get hurt>/i> when we're only here to help?

[as you two are talking, suddenly, two things happen:]

[and two, the lights go out and everything is immersed in darkness]

Stay here with Eveningstar. [ Moving to her feet, she takes off to join the rest. ]
