Right. If you want, I can get in closer, and you can stand at a distance. Since a watch can hardly make a parry.

[ Heading that way too, holding the sword a little awkwardly because all of her good sword skills are locked away...also it's a huge sword, so that doesn't help. ]

[When you arrive, you find it's already too late for one person]

[And that all of those things are converging on Star before she can even reach the rest, who are all in pretty bad shape]

Grabbing her bracelet tightly, aiming for one of the creepy things, and seeing if she can't...use it somehow...before Star gets even more hurt. ]

[ She'll be running straight at them, sort of.... pointing the sword and trying to send a laser at the one closest to Eveningstar as she gets closer to swing the sword at them properly. ]

[ And she'll be screaming to catch their attention. ]

[you both shoot blue lasers at one! This feels a little silly, but goes right through one the black shapes, leaving a large hole. It seems to still be moving]

[A couple of them turn their attention to Nightshade, but Nyssa is standing above one of the prone prisoners with a huge glass shard]

[ Aiming another shot at Nyssa, then, since that....doesn't look good at all.

Trying to keep an eye on the ones near Nightshade to make sure she doesn't need rescuing at any point, afterward. ]

[Nyssa reflects it back, but since she's not preoccupied with Eveningstart attempting to cockblock attempting stabbings, it hits another one one of the shadows]

[UN... fortunately... Eveningstar just got stabbed in defense of one of the prisoners]

[ SHIT

Okay now let's just shoot at anything near Star for a bit since...that's an issue. ]

[ WELL Nightshade has run for Nyssa...She's going to try to push Eveningstar out of the way of another attack (gently...sort of...) ]

[ And also swing her sword at Nyssa herself. ]

[It's not a fatal stab, but ow that looks painful and bloody! And she gets shoved several feet away. On the other hand, Nyssa deflects Io's shot.. right at Nightshade as she swings!]

[ ....SHIT SHIT SHIT ]

Hey, incoming!!

[ Going to see if she can't shoot her reflected shot out of the air/away from Nightshade...that works in some movies, okay. ]

[ Aw jeez, lasers. Going to try to avoid it (or at least, avoid any fatal areas on her body getting hit by it) and stab Nyssa again. What I don't think about can't hurt meeee ]

If Nyssa would die, we wouldn't have this problem!

[ Also going to place herself in front of Eveningstar (provided she doesn't die) with an eye to the other bad guys in the room just in case they try to attack as well. Also are those other people being hurt her friends that were screaming!! ]

[You can avoid the lasers, but Nightshade's sword goes right through Nyssa, while Nyssa herself brings that glass shard down to slash at Nightshade's other shoulder]

[Eveningstar, gushing blood, tries to free the prisoners,fumbling. But she cries out at Nightshade:]

Stop! You can't fight her!

[ ...Only shooting at Nyssa's band of monsters at this point, not Nyssa herself, since she's learned that just makes things worse. ]

Shit...there's got to be more I can do, some way to stop her...

[ Hisssss, clutching a hand over her shoulder, holding this giant sword as best she can with only the other hand. She doesn't bleed, but there's a scary cut where the shard hit her. ]

I have a wild and completely unpredictable idea. But first, we should free these prisoners while she's distracted.

[The monsters seem to go down easier, but there are so many of them....]

[Nightshade's lifebar is now at 80%]

[Eveningstar's not having much luck either]

[ .....Fuck, fine, running into the fray to try and help free the prisoners. Hopefully they're not tied on there too tightly or anything. ]

[ Backing up to the prisoners with her sword brandished, then deciding whatever, and turning her back to the enemies to help get the prisoners free quickly. Stabbings be damned! ]

[ Who's tied up? ]

[All of Epona, as well as some other people you can't recognize]

[Nyssa turns to attack you!]

[ Turning to whoever's closest and trying to undo their bindings, trying her best to ignore Nyssa being there.

If the bindings are really tough and it's not too dangerous, she might try using bracelet lasers to try and break through them. Otherwise trying to do it with brute strength. ]

[ Keeping an eye on Eveningstar as they work, attempting to undo bindings and not think about being stabbed through the back, or Eveningstar jumping to help her and getting hurt again. ]

...could you help me? I'm not sure if my hands can get at these knots.

[ It's said to Star :U more distractions for her ]

[The bracelet lasers are working! A few people run away, but Star is staring in between Nyssa and ropes]

I can't.. I can't get it open! They're too strong]

[And Nightshade gets cut through the shoulder again! Her lifebar goes down to 70%]

[ ...Finally looking over in-between cutting people out to see Star's difficulty. Maybe it'd be best to get her out of danger entirely... ]

...Eveningstar, do you think you could take the others to safety? I bet they're pretty scared.

That might be a good idea. That way we don't have to worry about them getting hurt in crossfire.

[ Picks up the sword and tries to use it as delicately as one can when shooting lasers out of a glowing sword to free the last people. ]

No! I... [She seems to have come to a conclusion]

I won't let anyone hurt my friends anymore!

[and she's going to go tackle Nyssa's ankle]
