The moment you step through the mirror door, you seem to - slip, as if the floor were made of wax, but when you fall there is no floor to catch you; only darkness.

You fall for some time. Eventually, it feels as if you're not falling at all - but rather, floating . . . and some time after that, it almost feels as if you have no body at all. The light from which the entrance of Canis's heart is disappears quickly, and you're left with nothing - not even your own screams, if you have any; nothing seems to leave your throat, and there's no sound at all, besides. Even the rushing of wind is gone, and your own pulse seems to fade away. . .

. . . what penetrates your consciousness next is the soft sound of music. Someway or another, you find yourself on a white platform; you're dressed in plain clothes of your team color, all items gone from your person. In front of you, four stones float; all perfectly square and identical to each other. Each have images - a sword, a staff, a bow and arrow, and a sparkling circle . . . you understand what you must do.

For some reason, even though this city is a "port" town, there doesn't seem to be any harbor that you can view directly. You can see the ocean on the west horizon, but the buildings are so tightly packed you can't go there. . . . oh well?

They're buildings! Picturesque buildings. . . actually, they seem different from everything else. As if they're actually just. . . two dimensional artworks, and not anything real. That's not right. . . ?

It feels flat.

As in, even when you push on parts of the building that should have indentations or some sort of texture, it's all just smooth and flat.

The "building" takes the entire force of your punch, but does not budge.

You wander around town; someone pokes at your shoulder, presenting themselves with a smile - again, there's no facial features, but you . . . feel like they are smiling.

"Good afternoon. I've just finished shopping at the SHOP, and I think this ARMOR will definitely match my SWORD. Don't you think so?"

...Do armour and swords really match?

"Sure they do. You won't wear a MAGICIAN'S BREASTPLATE when you've got HONESTY, right? That's like fire and water, they totally clash!"

But what if I did.

"They totally don't match. . . you could but you'd be a laughingstock, eh?"

Stuff like that isn't for looking good, though...
