The moment you step through the mirror door, you seem to - slip, as if the floor were made of wax, but when you fall there is no floor to catch you; only darkness.

You fall for some time. Eventually, it feels as if you're not falling at all - but rather, floating . . . and some time after that, it almost feels as if you have no body at all. The light from which the entrance of Canis's heart is disappears quickly, and you're left with nothing - not even your own screams, if you have any; nothing seems to leave your throat, and there's no sound at all, besides. Even the rushing of wind is gone, and your own pulse seems to fade away. . .

. . . what penetrates your consciousness next is the soft sound of music. Someway or another, you find yourself on a white platform; you're dressed in plain clothes of your team color, all items gone from your person. In front of you, four stones float; all perfectly square and identical to each other. Each have images - a sword, a staff, a bow and arrow, and a sparkling circle . . . you understand what you must do.

The spells that made it through as the coils were forming managed to leave some cracks as they passed through.

Dark's sword, targeting the cracks, breaks down a portion of her wall- Just enough to get an attack or through to.

The Punishment widens the hole enough for Mira's thrust to get through, and his blade pierces the neck--

Canis's neck, to be precise, having thrown himself in front of the hit. Seeing her last minion fall, Aquila cries out, and the remainder of her wall explodes, black coils flying out in every direction with immense force.

mira's sword drops to the ground, and he follows right after it--onto his knees.

Aquila fires off more black coils at the two, each with great force, but... She isn't even aiming for them anymore, it seems. She's simply firing off as much as she can in their general direction without even trying to aim, pulverizing everything around them- And if they are unlucky, them as well.

[ but Devotion has one thing in mind, which is protecting the ones who've protected him - in one motion he, with his super strength, pushes Sparrow out of the way to grab Mira and shove him back as well - in some attempt to protect them. He can't attack in his own heart, but he can try to shield with his own body. ]

As they hide behind Devotion, Aquila focuses her fire, tightening the spread- They're still inaccurate, but if they don't start moving soon, they'll be sitting ducks.

[ oh it's--canis. that's definitely canis. there's a slight delay but mira's moving a hand up, wrapping an arm around his waist to shove him over and switch their positions, to shield devotion from the attacks. ]

[ Sparrow tries to buy them time, hammering Aquila with as many Punishments as she can. ]

Sparrow's attacks hit home, throwing off Aquila's aim further. And where each attack of Sparrow's hit, Aquila cracks and dents, colors like stained glass rippling across the impacts. Chunks and holes just shatter out of her, yet that only fuels her desperate attacks further, powering them up even more.

As he impacts Aquila, the point of contact turns to glass and cracks, but it's not quite enough- She places her hands on his head and begins to charge up one final attack....

From his fist, cracks spread throughout her body as she freezes in place, her power dimming. Soon, all that's left is a stained glass statue of Aquila, which slowly crumbles around Mira's fist.

Devotion helps her up, but in the meantime, the floor where Aquila stood begins to crystallize, creaking threateningly.
