The moment you step through the mirror door, you seem to - slip, as if the floor were made of wax, but when you fall there is no floor to catch you; only darkness.

You fall for some time. Eventually, it feels as if you're not falling at all - but rather, floating . . . and some time after that, it almost feels as if you have no body at all. The light from which the entrance of Canis's heart is disappears quickly, and you're left with nothing - not even your own screams, if you have any; nothing seems to leave your throat, and there's no sound at all, besides. Even the rushing of wind is gone, and your own pulse seems to fade away. . .

. . . what penetrates your consciousness next is the soft sound of music. Someway or another, you find yourself on a white platform; you're dressed in plain clothes of your team color, all items gone from your person. In front of you, four stones float; all perfectly square and identical to each other. Each have images - a sword, a staff, a bow and arrow, and a sparkling circle . . . you understand what you must do.

You can try to touch it, but it burns your hands to the point of numbness - not that it stops Devotion from trying it, anyway.

Devotion tugs Mira away, too - and with super strength, it isn't that difficult to pull him away from the snake, though the sudden force will make them both tumble out of the snake's mouth unceremoniously.

Thankfully the snake isn't going to go after them, being that it's seemingly trapped in the shadow. . . . the desert heat burns, with clouds of dust making the air thick and musty and wholly uncomfortable to breathe in. Devotion moves to pull Mira, holding him against his own person. And although Mira has the max level of health, his wounds still burn, unhealed. The sharp numbness seems to spread, from his hand to his arm and up to his shoulder, making it painfully difficult to move. . . .

Yeah. [ he can't hold onto devotion and reach for it at the same time though so--giving a tug to the end of devotion's shirt before turning back towards the exit, one hand reaching for. a potion?!?! how do inventories even work. ]

The single potion by itself doesn't really help much. . . it's kind of like cold water, soothing on your wounds and accelerating the process slightly, but they're still pretty bad. You'd have to take a lot of these to get completely patched up.
