[You enter a room made entirely of thick glass and patterned porcelain. Fluffy pillows and beanbags are scattered across the floor, providing plenty of comfortable places to sit, but they probably don't make up for what's on the ceiling (spears of jagged glass, steaming kettles of some boiling liquid), or the view through the floor (a long, long drop down into a pit, wherein weapons glint, sharp and business-ends pointed up towards you).

A round table stands in the middle of the room. Upon it stands six vases, each one the color of one team, and a scattering of gems in three different colors: obsidian, sapphire, and crystals.]

All right! I think I've got a plan.

Does it involve hiding in a pile of pillows? Because I don't think that's gonna work.

I've devised two strategies. One that's fit for Epona and one that's...

[ Selfish. Selfish. Selfish. SELFISH. ]

Let's just say the other one is more at keeping our best interests in mind. Do we want to make enemies today?

[ AND SHUT UP THE PILE OF PILLOWS STRATEGY WAS LEGIT UNTIL YOU SHOWED UP. ]

[Shakes head... No enemies okok]

What do you mean, 'fit for Epona'...?

We don't need enemies...

[gandere]

We don't.

[ Looking towards Eveningstar. ] We want to help everyone, don't we? So I mean this plan would involve using our defenses to negate most of the damage we deal out to everyone else.

It'd leave us open to attack.

[acemedium]

I don't want you guys to get hurt, either.

...But if we negate the attacks, it'd cancel them out... right?

[gandere]

That's right.

[ Cupping the side of her chin with her hand. ] I was thinking if we directed two attacks at every time, including ourselves, then use a sapphire to deflect one of each of those attacks... well, it's the best we could do.

What about the crystals?

Do any of the other teams have a reason to attack us?

[acemedium]

I don't think so.

[gandere]

[ Schooler thinks everyone hates her, but other than that... ]

To survive.

[moderndaywhitemage]

I think if we lose, we're going to die.

[acemedium]

One per team....

...What about the reflectors?

[gandere]

We refuse to use them.

[acemedium]

Okay.

... I wonder what would happen if we used them for our own attacks?

[gandere]

... The damage would be reflected right back at us, you know.

[acemedium]

But it'd be missing half....

[gandere]

Yeah... let's do that for our defenses. That way... no one can possibly be angry at us because we did our best to help them all out.

[ Maybe she can show she's not all that bad of a person. ]

The other idea is to wipe out a single team with all of our attacks. I noticed there weren't that many wearing green or teal before we entered.

[acemedium]

[Instantly:]

No, we can't do that!

[gandere]

[ Agreed. ] It'd make us one enemy, but nothing more.

[acemedium]

It's not about that! It's cruel to try to wipe out a team just because they don't have everyone with them!

[gandere]

[ BUT PEOPLE DID THAT TO HER... probably. ]

It's cruel, but it's upsetting one more instead of multiple people.
