We should at least focus our money on all the necessities. If Blade is really going to freak out, we don't have to buy all the luxuries. But that's my stance.

. . . it's just, settling for obeying the rules and following what the Echo's told us to do doesn't sit right with me. Especially not . . . because she's hurt us.

She is the one who hurt us, but she also expects for us to simply take it and listen to what she tells us to do. And regardless of what we do in this game, she'll win - she'll profit off of this.

. . . to spend the money on luxury items is the same as not spending the money at all; either way, we're coasting. This round hardly has any impact, at all.
