[ He looks taken off guard for a second and then grins before launching a few more powdery attacks at her. ]

[she dodges one, but another hits, sending a white powder cascading down her hair! with a laugh she tosses hers at him with suspiciously good aim this time.]

[ He's probably getting pinged on the side of the head this time, but he seems to be enjoying himself either way. He's dashing to find a better vantage, while testing some snow-gathering powers of his own. ]

[sends some of the snow at his feet up to hit him like a complete cheater, though it doesn't go any higher than his chest and so avoids his face]

[ He takes most of the hits but also creates a miniature snowstorm of flurries around him obscure his next movements. ]

[she pauses, squinting, trying to tell what he's doing]

[ He is pretty much doing a mini snowball cyclone. ]

[she raises a wall of ice around her that she can see through, then continues to watch him carefully]

[ The cyclone suddenly rises to pretty much rain down powdery snowballs atop her. ]

[she laughs, the walls immediately disappearing as she tries to rush away, but it's too late; her hair is pretty much covered. she shakes her head to clear some of it away, and then shoves a large wave of snow at him, though not enough to be dangerous at all]

[ He is still totally getting overturned by the wave, with a yelp. Though, he sits up, brushing all of the snow out of his hair and laughing excitedly. ]

That's one of the things I love most about this place. I don't remember ever doing things like this before coming here.

It is. One of the recent games, too, with the dancing and the painting table... I've never been able to act so, mm, spontaneously. It's a good feeling.

I still say you should do the painting thing more regularly. We could get some henna or something like it.

Remember those surface level tattoos I told you about? It's basically dye that sits on the skin but isn't as deep as what you'd get with needles. It doesn't last as long either, but you can do a lot with it.

How is it different than normal paint?

It actually sinks into the first layer of skin so you can't just wash it off. So it takes a few weeks to disappear.

I wonder if I'll ever remember the exact year I came from. I think it would be interesting to see how far in the future everyone else came from in comparison to myself.
