When I got my first Pokemon, I couldn't let go of his Pokeball for hours, because it was proof I was going on a journey of my own, and I wasn't going to be going alone. Exaltigon is a world thriving with life. In fact it's bursting with it. Every habitat and every living being imaginable exists in this world. Many have yet to be found and catalogued. From this comes the primary focus of Exaltigon life: to journey. From the smallest beings to the largest, the creatures of Exaltigon love to travel and see sights unseen. Improvements in magic, technology and medicine is all to this end.
In fact one of the greatest inventions of Exaltigon is the Save Point, a magitechnology sphere that can revive a person from their last save if they happen to die an accidental death. The only things it can't revive are disease and old age, but modern magic and technology are fast at work on solving these conundrums. People are always pushing the boundaries of what can be done. The first greatest achievement of Exaltigon is existing, it is said, but the second greatest achievement is Dangerfield Space Port from where expeditions are now being launched into space to explore new planets and find new adventures.
When not rushing headfirst into new frontiers, the people of Exaltigon thirst for competition. Every city, settlement and home has its own favorite competition. From cards to battles to running with eggs on spoons, anything and everything is a competition. Victors are proclaimed yearly in elaborate festivals where everyone rejoices in the amazingness of life. If one thing can be said of Exaltingon it's that somewhere, if you look hard enough, you will find the place you can truly call home.
