HAUNT'S EXPLORADORA

[As soon as you step through the door, a sheet of paper with a list appears in your hand:

- Newt tails - 2 points
- Pig eyes - 2 points
- Mouse teeth - 2 points
- Cat whiskers - 2 points
- Tears of a ghost - 5 points
- The song of a mermaid - 5 points
- The sobs of a zombie - 5 points
- A golden nugget - 7 points
- A bright red ruby - 7 points
- A cauldron - 10 points

You also find a small, brown pouch attached to your waist. You can store any items you find during your exploration in there]

[You're in a large and spacious living area, where the floor, walls and ceiling are all built out of faded wood. There is no artificial lighting, so it may take a moment for your eyes to adjust. A large picture window on your right, however, allows streams of moonlight into the room, which helps with visibility a little bit!]

[You can see the dim shapes of a couch in the center of the room, and bookcases lining the back and left walls. Hanging on said walls above the bookcases are several wrought-iron candleholders with tall, white candles in them. None of them are lit]

[On the floor, you can see dark splotches of. . . something? Staining the wood. It's difficult to tell what color it really is in this lighting, though. Come to think of it, there's a light layer of dust covering everything else in this room, too. . . someone hasn't cleaned up in quite a while]

[There's are two doors you may go through, should you so choose: one on your right near the picture window, and one right in front of you. On your left is a staircase leading up.]

Does anyone have a way to light the candles? We should probably get all of them lit right from the start, at least.

[The window is smudged pretty badly so it's difficult to see outside, but you can see. . . colorful shapes? Like a garden, almost. And is that a gazebo in the distance?]

I know a simple fire arte that may help.

[Well, Sol is going to find those candles and light them with his fire powers, then.

His fox will sniff at those stains to see if he can guess what they are.]

[The cushions are torn and weathered with age. Taking them off stirs up quite a bit of dust-- careful not to inhale too much, Ventus]

[There is a set of rat teeth underneath one of those cushions]

[They are incredibly not fresh. They look like they're months-- even years-- old, even]

[grabs the newt tail and moves to the couch, pulling off the cushions]

[But yes, going through some of the bookcase books and quickly scanning through them. She's mostly looking for anything about mermaids singing, ghosts crying, and zombies sobbing, but if any mention of the other ingredients show up, she'll note them, too.]
