[ The Traveler steps in front of all of you, her arms raised dramatically! ]

Today, we take the first step of a very, very long journey together! This dream belongs to a young man, a criminal and his gang who on an otherwise normal heist has gotten in way over his head! Normally, this would be a nightmare, full of blood and death and abject horror!

Fortunately, I have taken the liberty of altering this dream so that it is completely safe and above all, fun! It would not do to have your first foray into the world of unreality to be so unwelcoming! The goal of this game is to survive, reach the end, and solve the mystery...

[ A young conductor ushers you aboard, his frumpy red hair gleaming beneath his hat.

You're in the dinner car of your team's train, where some very clearly high-class people are mingling...for the most part. There's some people up at the bar that you can tell are LESS THAN SCRUPULOUS. Also, one of them is apparently a cowboy? It's 1931, for godssakes.

The cowboy appears to be telling the young nervous man a story. Something about a TRAIL TRACKER, that appears on trains to murder everyone, at which point the train vanishes...obviously a urban legend, but the nervous man proceeds to FLIP THE FUCK OUT ABOUT IT, and runs off out of the car, insisting that he needs to find the young conductor to warn him that everyone on the train is going to die.

The moment he vanishes, you hear the sound of a pistol firing, and people start to panic. Welp.

OBVIOUS EXITS ARE EAST. ]

[hey what if i do the thing where i don't go through the obvious exit and look around to see who the fuck shot the pistol in the first place]

[ Well there's totally a guy in a white suit who just pulled out a pair of pistols

but the actual shot came from the EAST. ]

[oh, oh okay. loudly:]

Stay calm, everyone! Please stay in your seats. [wwwwwatching the white suited guy as she gets up to go east]

[soulping]

[ they absolutely do not listen

But as the whitesuited guy gets ready to fire, some blacksuited guys burst in with machine guns and tell everyone to do the exact same thing. ]

[oh my god these chumps]

[well, listening to those blacksuited guys to hear what they have to say 9_9]

[ They have a lot of things to say, like about how the senator's wife better come with them and how they're going to definitely free their master with this an --

oh the whitesuited guy is shooting at them now

there is now a gunfight in the dining car ]

[well that's great. hiding and maneuvering herself over near one of the blacksuited guys and perhaps their guns if they're dead

and if they're not dead maybe she'll deck them in the face while they're preoccupied with white-suited guy]

[ THEY ARE INCREDIBLY PREOCCUPIED, AND NOW INCREDIBLY DECKED IN THE FACE.

By the end of it, everyone but Rui is down! ]

[well, taking a machine gun. . . and the pistols from the whitesuited guy if he's dead]

[ Rui has recieved ONE TOMMY GUN and TWO PISTOLS. ]

[checking the ammo on these & heading out the car door /o/]

[ The pistols are empty!

The TOMMY GUN is full, though.
