A knot of wild shrubbery closes off a plain stone alcove big enough for your team and...surprisingly tall. In fact, several feet above all your heads, a small stormcloud hovers, grumbling with faint thunder.
The stormcloud grumbles above you, then spits out the following curses to hover angrily beneath it:
1. "Every time you tell a lie, your ears grow." 2. "May all of your hairstyles become massive afros, and may you be unable to store all your possessions anywhere else but said afros." 3. "You have a hard time thinking, and you will be dumb and metaphorically brainless."
I would rather not, but that's also betting on the hope that it "might not" apply to the entire team, and I'd rather not have that apply to two people carrying swords.
I know it feels like it's a terrible thing to send off, but these aren't supposed to be harmful, so it probably won't be too bad.
I'm honestly more concerned about what effects it might have if it continues after the game ends. Sometimes the wrong thing applying to the wrong person can make something bad happen.
[You know like... My trying to kill an ally in the last game? >_> I'd rather not have a repeat of that, thank you.]
You can if you want to, but do keep in mind that not everyone stands by Gulgallana and Amalthea's philosophy of keeping what happens in games strictly to games.
Technically speaking, rather than being on the same boat, it's more like we're on different boats in the same lake. I can only speak for people I know, when it comes down to it.
Actually, I should probably mention that I'm one of the ones that react badly to stress. It's a simple enough matter to control it normally, but there's always something that can set a person off. I'm counting on you all to talk me down if something happens.
In my own world, I was a soldier in a war fighting against something like a cosmic horror that ate the universe itself. The only way to survive and protect the people I cared about was to make absolutely sure it was dead, no matter what. That's... not exactly something that goes away.
Probably the important thing is to keep me focused on something else. Try to get me to talk about something, get me focused on the team. It's probably best to avoid physical contact, though.

I feel bad sending it, but . . . I certainly don't want to keep it, either.

[ don't mind her, it's just one of those things that don't add up in her brain. ] E-Either way, I'll be careful, then.
