[ The trees seem to be fairly empty of animal life, although it's a little difficult to see them clearly with the constantly-falling cherry blossoms.

...You may hear a squeaking coming from the direction of the doors, however. ]

[Searching around the doors, then. We need to try and find this chipmunk.]

[ If you approach the double doors, the first thing you'll notice is that they're not just plain wooden doors - they're also splattered in blood and occasionally rattle. You'll also hear a soft squeaking coming from the area - the chipmunk from before is there, pawing at the door to be let in.

The loop handles are shut tightly by a blood-stained katana. You could probably pull it out to enter if you really wanted to...but you get the feeling that that's probably a bad idea, so maybe you should just walk away instead. ]

Well, I found the chipmunk, at least... It looks like it wants to be let in there, so let me change my questioning a little...

Is there a reason why you can't allow anyone past that door?

"What's back there is...too personal. It's not to be shared with anyone."

The door's got blood spatter on it and it's barred from the outside with a blood-stained katana. Are you sure that it's an issue of it being "too personal"?

"All I know are my orders. I can't let anyone in there."

[ ...Although, to be fair, it doesn't look like there's anything he could really do to stop you if you made a break for it. ]

Of course you don't... Well, let me tell you, then: The fact that it's barred from this side would indicate that it's designed less to keep us out and more to keep something in.

With that in mind, I'm going to have to ask you to bar it again once I head inside.

[And yes, making a break for it. Unbarring the door, putting the katana on the ground, then opening it up and rushing in.]

[ You'll hear him screaming for you to get away, not to go through there, but you manage to make it through before he can do anything to stop you.
