[When everyone is ready, head into the RIGHT cave.
It's dim and quiet, with no light in the distance to suggest an end to the rock-hewn passage. But after what feels like ten, twenty minutes of walking, a large (and vaguely humanoid?) shape can be made out further ahead in the gloom.]
[As the distance lessens, the true nature of the shape become clear: a colossal stone figure, carved just so in the likeness of a medieval knight, resting in the center of the passage. Bent down on one knee to face you, gauntleted hands folded over the hilt of an enormous sword. The posture speaks of ceremony, of duty. A faithful and tireless guard.
Something glitters in the crack between the immobile stone fingers.]
[It's a jewel: a bright green emerald. It's been loosely tied to the stone pommel of the sword. The cracks between the knight's fingers are just barely wide enough to allow for a human hand to slip through.
[You succeed in prying loose the jewel, despite suffering minor scrapes on your fingers during the attempt.
The instant you do, however.....with an ominous creak, the stone knight begins to move. Two bright sparks flare into life within the stone helm in a ghastly imitation of a pair of eyes.]
