Everyone dies eventually, Diamond. No one can live forever. We can avoid immediate death, and we should try to save lives whenever we can, but that doesn't mean we shouldn't be prepared for it when it happens.
It doesn't mean we shouldn't make the most of the time we do have, when we have it.
. . . it doesn't mean we should waste our futures with fruitless endeavors when we could be celebrating our past.
