Well, even though they're bombs, it seems like they're not actually designed to damage anything beyond the carriage. They don't want to destroy their loot after all, I suppose.

I guess...just hard to imagine a magic that could work like that.

But maybe we should ask the magician guy how to avoid them? It sounds like he's the expert here...

That's true. That still doesn't help us deal with the horse-crippling traps of course, but it deals with one problem, at least.

Then at this point, we're going to need to set up most of the warriors as scouts, I think: A few people in the front, and a few people in the back to make sure we're not being surrounded. We'll be in trouble if they catch us off-guard while we're disarming traps.

Yeah, I don't really know any of the teams, so it doesn't really make any difference to me what we end up choosing... Still, I'm not really sure what to do in this situation beyond the stuff to make it so we aren't surprised.

Well, someone's probably going to get hurt no matter what we do. We could surrender to them immediately, but... we are carrying a princess, so that's probably not going to work out too well.
