[ For the dead, you are not revived - not at all.

Instead you hover as ghosts, formless and touch-less, in a dark cave - or just a hole? There's no exits, there's nothing but the other dead for company.

Welcome to your revival waiting room. ]

[ When the game starts, there's very little fanfare - the wood opens up into a pit beneath you, and you fall into a disused room.

It's an old, dusty room, gloomily lit through a narrow window. There's not much else in it besides you.

Just a single pen and and a single sheet of paper. ]

ETA: [ By the way, if you try to climb out the window and escape: While the window is open and you can escape, outside is snow and empty trees. The water is murky and around four feet high. No matter how far you look, how far you wander, there’s nothing but trees and trees and…

Disturbing ripples in the water, if you venture too far or splash too long. Some things get more hungry during winter. That, of course, is if you don’t freeze to death first in ice cold waters. ]

The moving escalators and the now unsealed elevator shaft allow for all three groups of explorers to regroup on the first (ground) floor in front of the Preferred Players' Room.
( circumstances have conspired to separate those who went into the maze, splitting them into three groups, with each group taking one fork in the road.

a wisp of light guides them forward, gleefully bobbing up and down, slowing down just enough so it doesn't lose those following it, then speeding off around the next corner as soon as they start to catch up. )
[ although they all started together, it became necessary for the groups to split up into smaller numbers.

taking the middle path, the wisp of light always maintains a slight distance a head of them, speeding down and slowing up as though traveling the maze is nothing but a game. ]

Once you find your partner you will enter one of the stone cavern rooms. While usually equipped for a larger team, this room now is cozy enough to fit two people. There's a table with refreshments, a pair of bunkbeds, and a couple beanbag chairs. There's even a pile of books if you want, but of course you'll probably be much too busy for that.

Although you may notice that a small door leads you some place else...

As each of you "die" in a pool of confetti and sparkles you find yourselves suddenly whisked away. The room you're taken to is designed elegantly-- Large windows, plenty of seats, a roaring fire, and a large bookcase. There seems to be a lot to explore here, if you really wanted to!

Similar to before, there's a large buffet table filled with all sorts of treats: And most importantly, popcorn.

From here you can safely watch all the decisions and chaos your friends are getting into. Don't worry, if you run out there's always more popcorn there.

You pull yourself through the hole and may watch as others stumble through theirs. While your other rooms may have seem somewhat barren, this room is covered in confetti, balloons, sparkles, and a bubble machine. It's almost like a party instead of a place where you choose people to "die", huh.

There's even a pair of shades for each of you to don.

Aside from that, there's nice lush couches for you to sit on. Music streaming from one of the tables, and a horde more of delicious food. Just don't forget to vote while you're in here, guys.
