SCAFFOLDING REDUX
[ OOC INSTRUCTIONS: The way the scaffolding trek will work: please refer to this ladder graphic. This is meant to be a simplification of the poles and platforms characters will climb.
Each character will start at the bottom of one of the vertical lines. No two characters may climb the same one unless one is carrying the other (and therefor following an identical path by being carried). Should your character try to go straight to the top, they will likely find their way blocked. Perhaps unpleasantly so.
Each line start is labeled with either a number and letter (verticals) or a color and symbol (horizontals). Please decide on one of the lines you will start at (designated by the animals underneath) and locate the corresponding starter thread underneath this instruction post. Indicate to soulping which way your character goes either by direction (ex: up, left) and/or the corresponding label in your tags. You may only go one direction each tag. Please note that your character’s left/right should be the same as yours. Each time you reach a new destination, soulping will give you new details about the platform/pole you find yourself. Your way may be totally clear, but there will also be mini events & traps along the way; it is entirely possible you might find your character has to retreat in order to go forward.
IF you are opting to carry another character, then your character and the other will share the thread, and there will be additional obstacles and hazards along the way that you will have roll against in order to reach the top! Your character cannot and will not be seriously injured on this portion of the run.

But there's something dead and cold about those eyes, something too wide about that smile, as her face moves around in a very inhuman way. Her animatronic jaw clicks open and emits that tinny simulacrum of its likeness’s laughter. ]
My, my. Winners, are you? It looks like your luck’s just run out, my doves.
[ She advances, one foot before the other, something too smooth about her pace to be anything but inorganic. On one crooked elbow dangles an innocuous picnic basket. From her opposite hip hangs a coiled, silver rope. ]

[ She then throws all three of them -- targeting Aoko, Kaito, and Lapis! They explode in a cloud of blue smoke and glitter--and those parties hit will find themselves temporarily BLINDED for the duration of round one. ]

[ Her hand dips into the basket a second time, and when it comes out, her hands are full of bright, blue rose petals--which she casts at the remaining party members. Those people hit will find themselves in an EMPATHY BOND with another party (exclusive to anyone they might already be empathy-bonded with currently) for the duration of the battle. ]
[ All players please RNG 1 or 2 to determine whether or not the blows and side effects land; 1 for hit, 2 for miss.
