[Lapis just doesn't seem to catch a break. The whip cracks out and tears at her arm, and she cries out. Great.]

[Kaito's under the protection of Aoko's shield for this round. SCORE. this gives him enough time to level his card gun again, tongue poking out of his mouth as he takes aim. . . ]

1 for Sparrow, 2 for Cumulo

[ Sparrow stays at a range and unfortunately out of Aoko's shield so it's the whip that comes at her - it grazes her arm before she can get anything in the way and leaves a bloody welt and torn sleeve. it stings and she presses her hand over it, the pain dampened by the panic that comes with being trapped. unfortunately for Nyssanimatronic, to her the fastest way of getting rid of that feeling is to get rid of the thing blocking their exit... aka, Nyssanimatronic itself.

Cumulo is luckier than his trainer and dodges out of the way, though his barking is upgraded to snarling angrily when Sparrow is hurt. ]
