We don't have enough information to go on whether false leads are involved or not, and we can't spent 120 Adrenaline on the first round. So I'm trying to apply minesweeper tactics: Hopefully, the smells is just pinging the trap on space four.

(I'm not sure I understand her strategy, but she is the senior here. . . so I should trust her judgement.)

We can, yes. I rolled a three, so we could theoretically risk checking out another space and still have enough to get to the exit, or we could just head straight for the exit... Honestly, I think we're better off just going straight for the exit here, but...

It might be worth it to check a few other squares, to try and pick up any items that can heal the hits we took in the last round.

But I'm not opposed to hitting the exit quickly and saving that for a less dangerous area.

Well, let's try exploring for a bit, then...
