I'm concerned about the sixth sense in room 12, too, though. I have to admit I don't quite trust any sixth sense that isn't at the end of a hallway to be a monster.
The last sixth sense we saw was definitely an item. We know that smell, sound and visual pings are almost definitely monsters, and this one isn't accompanied by any of those. I. . .

I'm sorry, you're the senior here. I'd just. . . I'd skip tagging that one, myself.
Well, what we know is that traps are smell, sound, and visual, but may also be a false positive... Sixth sense is either an item, or a monster... Well, let's see, at least...
[I wish there was a way to get some more information, but...]
Technically speaking, there are no false negatives. It's right in the rules that a sixth sense can mean either an item or a monster. That's why my instinct is to distrust any sixth sense we come across outside of niches: I trust the game's capacity to mess us up over its capacity to help us.

[he looks thoughtful]
Tag visual, smell, sound and room sixteen. We might lose adrenaline on room sixteen, but I think we're better off safe than sorry. . .

Well, let's trust your instincts here.
Re: DISCUSSION
I don't know how sharp they are, but here's to hoping. . .!
Re: DISCUSSION
Re: DISCUSSION
Not that much better. . . hoo, boy.
Re: DISCUSSION
Re: DISCUSSION
With false positives and false negatives, how are we supposed to know what any ping actually means? It turns into a game of pure luck!
Re: DISCUSSION
Still, we have to be careful from now on...
Re: DISCUSSION
I hope we can make it through the last round.
Re: DISCUSSION
[That's the worst part, really: We fell for a trap.]
Re: DISCUSSION
Re: DISCUSSION
We have a sixth sense and sound ping. I'm marking everything.
[We can't really afford not to at this point.]
Re: DISCUSSION
(I might actually die if we run into another monster like that one.)
