That doesn't make it right! Just because people leave... does that make the time you spent with them worth less? The point is to keep going, remember the good times, and seek out more of them, not just give up!

I dunno about for other people. But for me... Having a friend means having somebody there to do fun things with and make happy memories with. You can't really do that by yourself - it's always better with a friend around.

And yeah, sometimes people leave. They move away, or they're stuck in the pods for a while, or they go home, or they die. And that hurts. But that doesn't mean the good times didn't happen.

Never having anybody around at all would hurt more than having to say goodbye eventually but being happy while they're there, I think.

Those words through the screen were all I had.

They're dead now.

But you were happy while they were there, right? So you can't... you can't regret having had them around.

...And I mean, if you want to be real about it, all my friends from back home are dead too, right? My world is destroyed. They haven't shown up here, so they're gone too. And even though it's possible to bring things back, there's no guarantee Fiere and I'll be strong enough to do it by ourselves, you know?

But I don't regret having met them. Even if I never see them again, even if I don't make it, that time is important to me.
