EPONA + KASHA
[As you stand around waiting for something to happen, you begin to feel something pressing on you, vaguely...as though a heavy blanket has been draped around your shoulders, although there's still nothing there. You close your eyes for just a moment - just a blink - and then-
The floor drops. You go plummeting downwards, or so it seems; you can't quite tell, because suddenly everything is pitch dark and you feel like you're falling, falling, falling...]

Re: ROOM 4
That's not very nice either...it's not their fault you can't remember them properly.

Re: ROOM 4
Oh, I don't blame you of course! It's been such a long time, after all. It's only natural that you'd forget their faces, even if they were your friends.
It does seem a shame though...they waited and waited for you to come. They had such faith in you!
But...you never did.

Re: ROOM 4
[The hazy figures continue to dance around the room, but as the girl speaks they begin to gradually slow and stop, several of them turning to look at Star instead. Their features are still unrecognizable, but you get the strong feeling that their expressions are annoyed...or accusing.]
You knew them all, once. Some of them, you even shared a team with. You played games together...tried to restore your worlds together. They really thought they could count on you. They thought you would come for them.
But look at you now...you've completely forgotten all of that. You didn't care at all, and you never came. You couldn't save them. You didn't even try.
Re: ROOM 4
[NOW IT'S A TRAUMA GAME]
N-No..... I haven't forgotten about any of them! I... go to see them in the pods almost every day! I remember everyone who left.... I-I'm always trying to wake them up!
Re: ROOM 4
[One by one, the dancing figures stop and turn, staring you down with disturbingly blank anger. Out of the corner of your eye, you think you suddenly recognize one of the faces. But when you turn to look, the familiarity slips away again...only to reappear, constantly, in your peripheral vision - just out of reach.
The girl continues, her tone even and hard, but at the same time there's something oddly discordant about it...like other voices are now speaking in unison with hers, voices both familiar and not.]
You couldn't stop them from leaving, and now you can't bring them back. And what about the ones who are still here? How long until you fail them as well? How long until you have to stand and watch them die, while you do nothing?

[. . .]
I... I'm doing my best.... I'm... really trying....
