[As you stand around waiting for something to happen, you begin to feel something pressing on you, vaguely...as though a heavy blanket has been draped around your shoulders, although there's still nothing there. You close your eyes for just a moment - just a blink - and then-

The floor drops. You go plummeting downwards, or so it seems; you can't quite tell, because suddenly everything is pitch dark and you feel like you're falling, falling, falling...]

...I've been here before. For another game. There was crypt that belonged to Alectryon. I think we should try that first. It's been awhile, but I think it was over there.

[Gestures in what he thinks is probably the right direction.]

[well she tried to walk but ended up walking in circles and back here]

I got lost.

We'll find it together. Don't go wandering off on your own.

[Grabs for her hand. Let's BOTH go get lost in the fog.]

[SCLERA'S COMING TOO]

[While all holding hands, because she's taking Sclera's too]

[Holding hands is a little oogy but she's not about to get her ass lost in the graveyard over something like not wanting to touch other people...]

You walk and walk and walk. You're not ending up back in the clearing, at least, but there's just a whole lot of fog and graves.

Until eventually, you see the dim shape of a mausoleum in front of you.

[Heading over there!!]

Kong will recognize it as, indeed, the Alectryon crypt. You all feel that it wants you to enter, but the passage is dark.

[suddenly holding someone's hand and on guard along with the rest of the group]

Kong, why does our team have a crypt, exactly?

I'd like to know this, too.

[It's creepy as heck.]

[Tora's just looking around any sources of light]

There are none.

We have to go further in no matter what, right? I think it's what the game requires, but I'm not thrilled about going headfirst into a dark crypt affiliated with our team.

[after a moment] They're just trying to frighten us. We call their bluff.

[looks to team for response]

[nods]

We have to keep going.

We certainly won't accomplish anything by standing around out here...

[They might not necessarily accomplish anything inside the crypt, either, but there's only one way to find out, as reluctant as she is to continue.]

You go forth, as a group!

And as soon as you set foot inside, the sound of your heartbeat stops.

[HOLY CRAP]

[SCREAMS]

To her credit Sclera doesn't scream, but only because she's too caught off-guard and horrified to make a sound.]

Behind you, you hear the grinding noise of a heavy stone door sliding shut across the entrance of the crypt. You're trapped!

Candles burst into flame around walls, giving you enough light to see a wall of names- all the members of Alectryon. Including yours.

Bright, wet blood is smeared on everything.

[Staring at the wall blankly in distress...!]

I.... I....

[he's laughing in what's actually horror but he's also fascinated]

What the hell?! Are you trying to tell us we're dead and we don't know it yet?

[grabbing Tora upon hearing her scream and holding her, also looking at Sclera so she knows he's aware of both of them]

It's a trap, but we don't know what kind! The Echo wants us afraid! Don't give him that!!

I.... [She's dead? She's not dead?]

... I'm still... I can still move.... Aren't we alive?

[Sclera sinks to her knees, weakly holding herself up against the wall.]

You say that like it's so easy...

[She's got sort of a horrified smile on her face too, if only because she doesn't know what other expression to make.]

...It's kind of strange to be so afraid with no heartbeat, isn't it...it's like something's missing.
