Mmm. Well, it's just a guess. But maybe some people think that emotions just get in the way? Making logical decisions and separating yourself from your gut reactions can be pretty important. It can be hard when people you love are involved.

I'm not sure why anyone would think it's a weakness though, still. Because having friends is warm and they can be like a family. I'd be really lost if I were alone and even with people I don't know it seems way less stupid--like you and the girl and that other guy being here definitely means I feel better, so isn't that a strength?

Our friends, our family, our teams, they're not a weakness. They're our wings and the wind beneath them. Not that caring about people has its pains ... it does, sometimes. It does a lot. But nothing is without its own good and bad. But the basic fundamental of not being alone, of having support and love from others, to feel that way yourself, it's a strength no matter what else comes with it.
