It can't just take pieces of us for some experiment like we don't matter! Where's the sense in this? Do we just sit around until we're all just a few pieces of a whole left as we're slowly ripped apart?
[The injustice of it all. The fact that pieces of people are being removed bothers him just as much as its seemingly pointlessness does. ]
It could if it really wanted to, but no, it wants us to volunteer it. [ Or worse yet, make them volunteer others for it. Yeah, that was a "fun" trip. ]
I say, after what happened before, I'm done with letting them pick us apart. I say we refuse.
Before? You've seen something like this happen before now?
[Amethyst has never gotten to participate in a game like this. He's only heard the stories.]
I don't know what refusing will make it do, but at the rate we're going, we'll just keep losing more and more until there's little or nothing left. I agree. I say we refuse.
But refusing generally leads to worse options, or at least, that's what I've been told. For the most part everyone seems to go along with their plans thinking it's best thing to do but I don't want to think that way.
I've participated in a couple of games before, but none like this. Nothing like this...
I'd much rather refuse than play their ridiculous game. I refuse to be taken apart piece by piece and if it attempts to force us, we'll just have to try and force it back.

[ Thus this brand of bitterness. ]
Alright then. We'll refuse.
