[It's after a few minutes of listening to everyone, but particularly after Nightingale tells her she respects how she always... confronts her feelings, that Lark goes to find VP-TAN OKAY.]
I'm sorry.
But I can't do this.
It's not that I don't like to or I don't want to, but I don't think a game is a fair way to tell someone how I care about them. It's no because... It's like I'm saying nice things in order to help us possibly win and I would never do that. Even if I mean them it feels wrong, to play any sort of game over feelings like that. Even if it is a nice game. I've tried really hard to always stand by that. I refused to vote for anyone in that one date bidding game, because someone else would be left out. Even the other day I didn't want to play the other game unless I could give something nice to everyone. When I tell people I love them in a game it's because... they need it and I want to, not because it's something someone else tells me to do.
That's why. I can't-- Even if every word of it's true, I'd rather tell everyone how much I love them on my terms. And I do do that. Every day. Multiple times. I love them every time I see them, I find such amazing things about... everyone I meet every day and I'm not afraid to tell them. But on my terms.
I'm sorry if that doesn't help or messes up the game. But I just can't.

To begin with, does anyone feel hesitant about the idea of having hope here?
