HENWEN
[When you come to, you find yourself locked in a small, cramped, antique elevator. One wall is covered with a large, ornate mirror, and a chandelier hangs above your head. The doors are made of metal and shut very, very tightly. The lights are off.]
[You hear two familiar voices echo distantly in your mind]
LET ME GO, Ǧ̲̖̩̞̣̲̌Ĩ͎R̞̩͎̝̍L̹̳̫̾͛Ȉ͙͈̬͐͒ͭ̄̌̊E̥̥̓ͨ!
I won't let you hurt them!
[Before you have time to say anything, the elevator suddenly jolts, before it begins to plummet. Your heart drops to the pit of your stomach as you fall, fall, fall, and then. . .]
[Suddenly it stops. You're thrown off balance, possibly to the point of where you crash into a wall or a nearby neighbor. All is silent]

Get out! Get out, get out, get out! B-before it's too late! Star. . . when she channeled Poltergeist, she trapped him and cut off his control of this game! His influence on the realm right now is shaky at best, escape from this place before he returns to kill you all!
But be careful. . . be careful! The realm is-- it's unstable, it's dangerous! And there may be parts of it that try to drag you back as you escape. . . if you're grabbed by something, struggle until you get away! And try not to get hurt!
[It's Haunt, sounding more frantic than she ever has before]
I. . . I'm on my way. I'm on my way, just hold on until I can get there!
THE ELEVATOR
Re: THE ELEVATOR
Shit..!
Re: THE ELEVATOR
Alright, we need to find a way out of here. Does anyone have... any kind of strength? Or, er, a lever?
Re: THE ELEVATOR
[He's gonna examine the mirror first.]
Re: THE ELEVATOR
What's going on?
[SOMEONE HASN'T BEEN AROUND FOR A WHILE]
Re: THE ELEVATOR
We're trapped in an old upscale elevator and we might die horribly if we can't find a way out.
[I'm sorry his candor is pretty shit right now.]
Re: THE ELEVATOR
[She leans against a wall for a moment.]
There is wooden paneling, a mirror, and a chandelier. If it were a more modern elevator, we might be able to get out via the ceiling, but I cannot see a way out.
Re: THE ELEVATOR
We could break the mirror. There might be something behind it.
Re: THE ELEVATOR
Re: THE ELEVATOR
[since he's blind lol]
Re: THE ELEVATOR
[Removing his cloak.]
I'll just wrap my hand in this so the shards don't get me.
Re: THE ELEVATOR
Re: THE ELEVATOR

But maybe you cannot see. Maybe instead you hear. A voice a voice it cries, "i will be free i will be free i will be free i will be free i will be free i will be free i will be free i will be free i will be free i will be free i will be free i will be free i will be free i will be free i will be free this mirror i will be free"]
Re: THE ELEVATOR
I... am less certain about breaking that mirror now.
Re: THE ELEVATOR
You better not.
Re: THE ELEVATOR
Re: THE ELEVATOR
Re: THE ELEVATOR
Yes. Ignore me.
[as the mirror starts to reach out...]
Re: THE ELEVATOR
[PUNCHES IT]
Re: THE ELEVATOR
Re: THE ELEVATOR
Re: THE ELEVATOR
Go away. You're not me. Not even close.
[Great. She really fucked this one up. She turns away from the mirror, still pulling at the lever.]
Come on, lever, open. Please.
Re: THE ELEVATOR
Re: THE ELEVATOR
[Lapis has a determined look on her face.]
Re: THE ELEVATOR
[even though he has no idea what's going on]
Re: THE ELEVATOR
I should be able to use my powers to keep from getting cut.
Re: THE ELEVATOR
[i'm team mom it's me]
Re: THE ELEVATOR
[Lapis reaches out to touch his arm.]
I will climb on your shoulders and give you directions, if that is acceptable.
Re: THE ELEVATOR
[Going to crouch down.]
I don't think we've met. [not that now is really the time for introductions, but]
Re: THE ELEVATOR
[She climbs up on his shoulders easily. Being five-foot-nothing and a hundred pounds soaking wet, she's definitely easy to hold.]
I am called Lapis. I know very little about myself beyond that, unfortunately. When you are settled, you can stand up.
Re: THE ELEVATOR
[he's a little shaky, but he manages to stand]
Jasper. We're in the same predicament.
Re: THE ELEVATOR
Re: THE ELEVATOR
[Lapis reaches over and pulls the latch firmly.]

Re: THE ELEVATOR
[She takes a breath, and moves, putting all of her weight on the lever, trying to pull it down as hard as she can.]
Re: THE ELEVATOR
