[ she's doing a pretty good job, although the cat in question isn't giving up easily. The cat you find is mostly white in color with faintly blue eyes. She is large, obviously wild—you can't help but feel unfortunately so on both accounts—but in spite of her size, she seems to be barely more than a kitten. She wears a black collar with four heart-shaped tags, ❤❤❤; the fourth is silver and reads NYSSA. ]
Who the hell else? That sweaty track-suit wearing wannabe god's knock-off.
[ Together with your help, the two of you manage to get the cat to a back portion of the shop customers probably don't normally see: there are a series of cages back here with a clear division between four on the right and all the others on the left, not the least of which is that the majority of the cages on the left are small enough to be double-stacked.
Into the first and only empty cage on the right, the two of you carefully get the cub into. ]
Phew. Feisty little firecracker. Thanks for that!
[ He turns away again to double-check the lock on the cage, and as he does so, a butterfly materializes and hovers close to you. It gives off a faintly warm feeling. Now would be the time to use your bug catcher. ]
[doing just that! and putting it in the cage if she can successfully capture it. then she's going back into the cafe to see if she can find any other familiar names...]
[ she can in fact do just that. +1 butterfly for natalie!
back in the front of the shop, there are literally dozens of cats, though. Does she just pick one at random, or is she looking for one in particular? ]
The cat you find, though closest to you at the moment, seems a bit standoff-ish. It's mostly white with creamy-gold markings on its tail and ears. Its size is moderate as is its age. It wears a purple collar with 8 hearts, ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤, plus one in silver that reads HAWK.

[ it's not that you think it's dangerous exactly--you're certainly not afraid. but you feel like you really want this cat to like you, and if you mess up, it won't. ]
Come here, I just want to pet you. You're the cat version of me or whatever, I'm not going to do anything to you. Let's show her that we're not as touchy as she thinks, yeah?
Re: THE CAT CAFE
[to the shopkeeper]
Hey, what do you want us to do with them?
Re: THE CAT CAFE
Oi, asshole! Where the hell've you been? Come help me!
Re: THE CAT CAFE
[going to help regardless, of course]
Re: THE CAT CAFE
[ He looks away from the cat and sees who it is for the first time. ]
Oh, shit. You're not him. Sorr--
[ the cat makes another swipe at his face. ]
Re: THE CAT CAFE
[trying to help him subdue the cat]
Who did you think I was, anyways?

Re: THE CAT CAFE
[pause]
Where do you want me to put it?

Re: THE CAT CAFE
[to the back we go!]

[sighs, though, holding out a hand to the cat]
You know, you might find that she's less dangerous than you think.
