[ As Star, Natalie, and Daisy get into an act of tug-o-war over who will or won't be hit by the incoming kick, Vash wisely releases a good portion of the butterflies. They eagerly escape the confines of their cages, floating momentarily by the door, seeming to gather... strength? Light? They grow larger, individually, changing shape into tiny, magenta birds—before dive bombing the masked Gatekeeper.
The first one slams into her, knocking her back at the very last second before she can manage to hit both Star and Natalie. A second and third one strike various parts of her body, seemingly becoming absorbed into it, even as the force of them knocks her off-center and threatens to spill her—a fourth and fifth hit her squarely in the mask. The first cracks it, and the second breaks off a whole chunk of it covering her mouth.
She seems to hear both Silver and Star calling out to her, and her tail twitches. You feel... a wave of confusion and curiosity come through. However, before anything more can happen, Caracal asserts herself into the fray, attempting to tackle the still-masked girl, who hops back with super-human speed.
MEANWHILE, Not!Yato Papa takes a bullet from Vash in the shoulder so that he can defend himself from Yato's blade. ]
