Word has gotten to the villagers, and the people are frightened: rumors abound that an attack is imminent. I ask that you all agree, as a unit, upon what you believe is the best course of action to use against these forces: will you attack or defend?
Should you choose to defend, you may either station four guards around the village or place a magical barrier there using a talisman. If you wish to attack, you may cast blind, petrify, thunder, or blizzard on our enemy. The effects are self-explanatory. Be forewarned—once you have committed an action once, you may not repeat it again later, as our enemies will be aware of our tactics and talismans may be used only once.

We don't know much about who is on any of the other teams, but they also don't know the same for us.
And the weapons, consider: Swords, bows and arrows, magic. Three choices. In a fight, we're probably playing rock paper scissors with live ammo.
I don't think we should attack anyone, since if we all just guard, we all won't hit each other. And if we do get hit, we can piece together who did it later.
