...Okay guys, I think we should use the talisman this turn, to ensure perfect safety.

Then, we should discuss how exactly we're going to approach turn three. I think we should figure out how to break the game, given the time we have.

What's your suggestion?

Re: ROUND THREE / ROUND TWO RESULTS

What if we parley? Send someone to talk to the other teams with a white flag, and offer to set aside our differences to protect the town from bandits. We have a common enemy, the villaie would be okay with the protection, and we can figure out how to split things up after.

That sounds like a better idea that hoping our defense holds...
fuhrinkaed: (Well if you put it that way.)

Re: ROUND THREE / ROUND TWO RESULTS

[personal profile] fuhrinkaed 2015-12-12 07:47 am (UTC)(link)
Let's do both. We can use the talisman to protect the town, and while we're under its protection, Ochre and I will go talk with the other armies about the bandit problem and try to get everyone working together.
suzinkazan: (Chenin Blanc)

Re: ROUND THREE / ROUND TWO RESULTS

[personal profile] suzinkazan 2015-12-12 07:59 am (UTC)(link)
That sounds like a good plan.

[personal profile] tatsumi_textiles 2015-12-12 07:39 am (UTC)(link)
Should we?

This is the Caretaker's game, why're we tryin' ta break it?
fuhrinkaed: (Well if you put it that way.)

Re: ROUND THREE / ROUND TWO RESULTS

[personal profile] fuhrinkaed 2015-12-12 07:39 am (UTC)(link)
Well, he didn't say we could only do what the commander said.

He just said that our choices had weight.

So... I'm just making a different choice.
tatsumi_textiles: (Bitch please)

Re: ROUND THREE / ROUND TWO RESULTS

[personal profile] tatsumi_textiles 2015-12-12 07:40 am (UTC)(link)
Well, maybe we can do somethin' about those bandits, then.
fuhrinkaed: (Leave it to me!)

Re: ROUND THREE / ROUND TWO RESULTS

[personal profile] fuhrinkaed 2015-12-12 07:44 am (UTC)(link)
...Then let's do that. We'll extend feelers to the other armies, parley, and try to beat the bandits.

...I'm willing to be one of the ones to go meet with the others, since there's some risk involved.
tatsumi_textiles: (you wanna go punk)

Re: ROUND THREE / ROUND TWO RESULTS

[personal profile] tatsumi_textiles 2015-12-12 07:45 am (UTC)(link)
I'll take the other.

Ain't a lotta people in any of the other teams that can take me down.
fuhrinkaed: (That IS definitely a problem)

Re: ROUND THREE / ROUND TWO RESULTS

[personal profile] fuhrinkaed 2015-12-12 07:46 am (UTC)(link)
Then that's that. We'll use our talisman to cover us while doing that, then?
tatsumi_textiles: (Bitch please)

Sounds like a plan.

Now just ta get everyone else ta agree.

What if we cast blind on the bandits? Or, heck, even petrify.

[BANDITS ARE NPCS RIGHT IT'S OKAY TO PETRIFY NPCS]
tatsumi_textiles: (Bitch and moan)

Re: ROUND THREE / ROUND TWO RESULTS

[personal profile] tatsumi_textiles 2015-12-12 07:43 am (UTC)(link)
Thought we could only use each spell once?

Besides, if they're bandits, I'd use petrify. Blind ain't gonna stop them fer long, but petrify'd mean we could get in and deal with them before they turn back.
carptricks: (Late nights and early parades)

Re: ROUND THREE / ROUND TWO RESULTS

[personal profile] carptricks 2015-12-12 07:44 am (UTC)(link)
That counts for the spells, too? Haa. . .

[rubs the back of his head with a frown]

Save petrify, in case we decide we've gotta use it on one of the other teams.

Use blizzard.
fuhrinkaed: (Is that so..?)

Re: ROUND THREE / ROUND TWO RESULTS

[personal profile] fuhrinkaed 2015-12-12 07:44 am (UTC)(link)
We can't rule out that the bandits are cats, either.

So... Blizzard may be best.
carptricks: (in the alpine heights)

Re: ROUND THREE / ROUND TWO RESULTS

[personal profile] carptricks 2015-12-12 07:47 am (UTC)(link)
[. . . HAHAHA]

[freezes now, like he isn't so sure he likes his suggestion anymore. that only lasts a moment before he grumps]

Why would the Cats be bandits? Caretaker wouldn't force them into a role like that one, right?
fuhrinkaed: (That IS definitely a problem)

Re: ROUND THREE / ROUND TWO RESULTS

[personal profile] fuhrinkaed 2015-12-12 07:49 am (UTC)(link)
...I don't think he necessarily would, and I didn't see a lot of members of a couple of teams.

But assumptions are bad. [Nodnod.]

Either way, we should use our talisman this round, and create the anti bandit alliance while we're temporarily invincible.
carptricks: (With your ear)

Re: ROUND THREE / ROUND TWO RESULTS

[personal profile] carptricks 2015-12-12 07:52 am (UTC)(link)
Haa. . .

[assumptions are very bad, so he doesn't rule out the possibility]

I think we should wait to try'n create an anti-bandit alliance in the next round. The talisman that protects us will be useless if we trek outside of the village, since it's only a barrier around the village, yeah? Even if we attack the bandits, we might not necessarily be welcome if we don't have proof of our goodwill.

But if we attack the bandits first, and then use that as proof of goodwill, then our attempts at negotiating an anti-bandit alliance might work out better.

[personal profile] fuhrinkaed 2015-12-12 07:45 am (UTC)(link)
Then let's approach the other armies and work together to solve the bandit problem. That way, we'll have a relationship based partly on trust and we can start working together and all profiting from this area.

You made breaking the game sound boring.

Of course breaking it would be boring.
