You are on a spaceship.

Most of your time will be spent on the bridge, which is exactly as fancy as you’d expect it to be — it looks a little like this. (The chairs are super comfortable!) Your brand new artificial intelligence — which, if you investigate, you’ll find is housed in a small computer chip — has been implanted into the computer terminal on the back wall. The diagnostics readout displayed along the bottom of the screen tells you that the AI has only been outfitted with the most basic of Stability Cores, and is currently Critically Unstable.

- The crew of the Estelle will attempt to non-lethally repel all of their boarders. Tama will use his accomplished training as a Clown-Mercenary to bedazzle and confound them before he starts shooting their knees and arms with a laser pistol. Puma will try to use a knife. Pearl will hit people from behind with a chair. Jaguar will attack joints and try to KO people with a wine bottle. Aoko will keep the cat, the tortoise and the AI safe.

- They will then attempt to raid where the government is keeping the AI and cores with whatever support they've gathered and try to steal as many AI and cores as possible, get them back to the Estelle and escape.

RESULTS

A skirmish quickly breaks out between the crew of the Estelle and the officials who came knocking. Lasers fly! And so do chairs! Tama is “shot” in the chest, and Puma “takes a laser to the kneecap”, both of which really only mean that they’re spattered with harmless, bright red paint where the “injuries” are. It doesn’t hurt. It doesn’t even look like blood. All of the officials are eventually subdued.

That done, a raid is launched against one of the government research facilities! The following “injuries” are sustained: Jaguar is “”critically”” injured by laser gun, Tama is beaned in the nose with a computer tablet (which doesn’t hurt a bit, but does spatter his face in yet more harmless red paint) thrown by a panicky scientist, and Aoko is “grazed” in the arm. They successfully steal two critically unstable AI and two medium quality cores before reinforcements arrive, forcing you to flee.

You make it back to your ship safely, but you might wanna get out of dodge, quick. You are wanted criminals, with some truly massive bounties on your heads. the Galactic Government wants you, dead or alive, at all costs.

… on the bright side, you also find the following messages waiting for you:

The Dawon expresses their intention to help; they’ll be there for you if you need them, all you need to do is send them a message.

The Alectryon asks if you could help with their seven unstable AI and six addled crewmates, who they had donated to science and who were returned in less than stellar states. They had not realized what the researchers would do, and had trusted in their good intentions.

And the Barghest, well. They send this:

HIIIIIIIIIIIII~ ♥ ♥ ♥ Did you guys get to have a lot of parties too? We did! I'm having a lot of fuuuuun! Our crew members were super curvy and were also shirtless with a lot of muscles, wowie!

I don't actually understand a lot of what the rules were trying to tell me to do, oopsie! I don't get what splitting up things mean either, oopsie! But I think I'm doing things right cuz I'm making friends with the black market and the government and I have two kitties now, yay! ♥ ♥ ♥

Don't worry, Ai-chan and me have been together allll along. Instead of experimenting, we're gonna get Ai-chan fashionable accessories from the money we got after that spaceship exploded! Come visit later, lets have a partyyyyyyyyy~
