[ She's letting herself down from Pearl's arms to stagger to the doors and open them, seemingly driven by her need to help Argus now. ]

[...Well... she can sense the mood.]

[Time to go through those doors after Capella.]

[Dutifully bringing up the rear.]

[ There's staff, women in maid uniforms and butlers, lingering in the corridor, whispering behind hands. They take no notice to you as you pass by.

Further down is another door, a deep red liquid leaking out from underneath.

It smells like wine. ]

[ she pauses for only a moment to listen to the whispers, before opening that door. ]

[ You can't hear, but if you pay attention long enough you'll see them talking about the bastard of the house and his BODYGUARD.

Beware of glass, as there's a shattered bottle nearby.

If she heads into the room proper, she'll find a young boy with a black eye sitting at a desk, papers strewn around him. They have the handwriting of someone who is very young, and very inexperienced in writing.

He doesn't look up immediately when she enters. ]

[ oh right i'm deaf now that's right... that was a disappointing saga of attempts. ]

[ she tries to speak, but this just feels weird and wrong coming out of her mouth. She takes a moment to wonder if this is how Argus feels, every day. ]

[ she takes a moment to make a foggy mental note to learn sign language. ]

[ He looks up, and squints his eyes at the tag. ]

[ she immediately answers like argus would answer, but takes a step back. ONE OF YOU TWO step forward... ]

Someone ask him questions. I am not sure if I am the right person to do this.

[Knight is -probably- better at the talky thing, Lookin' at the boy's eye.]

We're here to rescue someone who's very important. His name is Argus. Have you seen him?

[ Immediately alert, and interested. ]

Yeah, I know him. I'm his - He's my bodyguard.

But he's not here... He wrote these, though.

[ Indicating the pages. Maybe you should take a look. ]

[Just watching the door for any possible opponents.]

[ GOING TO TAKE A LOOK THEN ]

[I AM NOT AS GOOD AT READING DUE TO A BUM EYE but also looking them over.]

[ The handwriting is terrible, it's clear someone's been practicing.

The first says 'TWILIGHTS MUST SERVE HUMANS BECAUSE ___.'

The second says 'IT'S POINTLESS TO DEFEND MYSELF BECAUSE ___.'

The third says 'I AM GOOD FOR ___.'

The blanks are indecipherable, like someone has crossed them out. ]

You need to fix them. He's too stubborn to do it himself.

These just seem...wrong...

[ she's taking the nearest writing utensil and crossing out parts of them because she can ]

There. Just a little reinforcement, in case he doesn't get the memo.

I think Capella aught to be the one who holds onto it for him - but... yes. We certainly will.
