Mmm. Well, as it turns out, the perpetrators of the increasingly violent "pranks" were various members of the teams, under control by Nyssa and her shadows. Argus-san was one of them.

We have to help free him from the shadow's will, now.

By proxy, yes. One of her shadow familiars has possessed him.
