Tiamat and Aoko

The room is fairly simple, tatami mats on the floor, and racks upon racks of clothing haphazardly strewn around. On the racks are all sorts of clothing, some kimono and Japanese-inspired, some steampunk, but all quite formal.

On one wall, and on a table in front of it are weapons: katana, sets of kunai, battle fans, other Japanese weapons, and some steampunk-ish guns, some firing bullets, some energy weapons.

[He's dressed like a samurai, and has a katana and a revolver.]

Aoko picked out the outfit. It's pretty nice, don't you think?

I just wanted to wear it properly.

So you turned into a girl.

Well, it's got heels and a skirt and stockings. Wearing that as a boy just feels weird.

[He spins once.] It's way more natural like this, I think?

[Okay you know what Ed

He's just gonna shoot you.]

[It turns out he was expecting that, since as his twirl comes to a stop he's pulled an energy gun from behind his back and fired twice.]

[The first hits the other bullet, and the second is going at Silver.]

[He uses that katana to cut the second energy bullet and then twirl, spraying shots with the revolver. as he does.]

[Several of the revolver shots pepper him as he pulls a second gun from behind his back and starts spraying energy bullets wildly, guns akimbo.]

[He SKILLFULLY CLOSES IN, avoiding Ed's line of fire and.

Tries to cut him.

Paint him.

Paintcut him.]

[When Silver gets close to perform the cut, Ed takes a step back and just out of the sword's range, tossing the gun in his left hand into the air. He reaches for the wakizashi and pulls it out in a quick chanbara strike, his other hand flicking the holster of it around so that he can quickly sheathe the blade again--aiming for Silver's arm.]

[The entire attack takes place with a 'step back-forward-back twice and catch the flying gun' motion that's smooth enough to make one wonder when the hell did Ed learn to fight in platform high heels.]

Bwah!

[There's that splatter of color.]

Why can you fight in those?

[trying to chop again.]

[He nimbly sidesteps the slash again, unloading with dual pistols at point blank this time.]

The maid outfit Hina made me wear had heels! It was a choice between 'learn' and 'be on fire!'

[He's splashed again, but this time tries to move the gun point blank to fire.]

See.

[He spins himself along Silver's gun arm as he pulls the trigger to pull himself out of the range of fire, in a motion that wouldn't be out of place were they dancing instead. Holstering his gun as he does, it's time for another quick iai strike with the blade.]

[He parries the strike and just.

Whaps Ed with the sheath.]

[He's hit and it sends him a little off balance, but he still pulls his gun up and fires a energy bolt in his point blank reply.]

[He's shot and.. then whaps, again.]

[This time the whap is parried against a blade, and there's the off-hand shot again.]

[He's circling now, and still trying to shoot Ed.]

[The shot manages to land again, and he's about to swing when the first round comes to its abrupt end.]
