It was a spirit that was caught in nuclear testing- testing that turned it a strange shade of magenta, and made it weak to water and the cold.
Seeking it's new home in the desert, the spirit, Kaijuminor, seeks out the honest to grant it's powers to, in hopes of averting a nuclear apocalypse.
