We could find a way to break the window and head through it if we really don't trust it. There's some kind of office on the other side.

At the moment I think out is the best option, whether the door or the window. Can you look for something to break the window? I'll look for something to open the door with.
robitussin: (and they just stop a conversation)

My vote is for the window. I really don't trust that computer.

Would one of the IV stands work?

[You've been mostly standing off to the side, not saying anything up until this point.

Hearing about the window makes you walk over to it and knock on it a few times.]
robitussin: (there will be light)

Why is there a five year old here?

[You turn your head.

You don't see anybody shorter than you, so you assume she's talking about you.]

I'm not five.
robitussin: (sitting staring at walls)

How do you know?

[Shit, she's got you there.]

Thought so.

Whatever.

[Hey, somebody broke the window.]

Are we going through here?
robitussin: (there will be light)

Re: MEDLAB 001

[personal profile] robitussin 2016-03-19 04:03 pm (UTC)(link)
Yep. Careful, inexplicably present small child.

[out the window we go.]

It probably would, yes.

[She glances at her hand]

Although, if this map is accurate, the door and window go to the same place.

[For some reason, even if she doesn't trust the computer about people, she does about maps.]

However, we need out, so do your worst.

[personal profile] femmefailtale 2016-03-19 03:48 pm (UTC)(link)
That also seems smart.

If we had something to throw through it it'd be easiest...

[She looks over at the IV drip.]

...I could.
robitussin: (when we open up our light)

Re: MEDLAB 001

[personal profile] robitussin 2016-03-19 03:50 pm (UTC)(link)
That or the stool would probably be easiest to break it with. Wanna go for it?
femmefailtale: (brb bein awesome)

Re: MEDLAB 001

[personal profile] femmefailtale 2016-03-19 03:51 pm (UTC)(link)
Yeah.

[She picks up one of the IV stands, and with a small running start rams it at the window as hard as she can.]
robitussin: (when we open up our light)

Thanks!

[She spins the IV pole around like a staff and hefts it over her shoulder with a smirk.]

...That felt a lot more natural than it probably should have. When the hell would I have fought with an IV pole?
robitussin: (and if other daughters)

Re: MEDLAB 001

[personal profile] robitussin 2016-03-19 03:55 pm (UTC)(link)
Best not to question it. Now let's get out of here.

Right. [Time to use the IV to clear away glass from the sill and see about carefully hopping through the window.]

[...I will keep my pole. Having a weapon feels like a good plan.]

[...Okay fine

You know what, going to pick up some of that broken glass VERY CAREFULLY and see if she can tie some of the larger shards to her IV pole with those tubes. Something might need stabbing.]
